The star was a species native to the planet Preplanis. Resembling a six-pointed star with large eyes and a mouth, it had the ability to fly.

The star was not referred to by name. Since it was active at night, it may have been a nocturnal animal.
The star is similar in appearance to a hook-nosed bat-like creature that appears in "The Keeper: Part 2".
