Giants and All That Jazz (LotG episode)

Fitzhugh, Barry and Valerie check out a music club and witness a man named Hanley rough up a down-on-his-luck trumpet player named Biff Bowers who owes him money. Later Bowers manages to capture Valerie and Barry, and knowing they are worth a hefty reward, he attempts to call the SID. Unbeknown to Biff, Mark has rigged the phone and Steve becomes on the phone line saying he is the SID, and find out that Biff did not call the SID, buying the others some time where Dan tries a different approach—make Bowers a star overnight by teaching him Earth's jazz music, in exchange for letting his companions go.
