A list of events which occurred on October 16th.
- In recognition of the launchdate of the Jupiter 2, the Sci-Fi Channel airs an all-day marathon, including "No Place to Hide" and the top ten episodes chosen in an online poll. The Museum of Radio and Television holds public screenings of episodes in New York and Los Angeles with all surviving members of the original cast (including the Robot) in attendance at a private event in California. The event is preceeded by a live chat with the cast on America Online.[1]
