Rubberoid

The Rubberoids were a species that visited the planet Preplanis prior to 1997. They were hairless and walked stiffly with great difficulty. Rubberoids possessed technology superior to that of Earth, including a thought-controlled device that could replicate whatever the wearer wished for. ("Wish Upon a Star")
